Mediation is appropriate for divorce cases, custody disputes, property disputes, disputes between neighbors and disputes between employers and employees. Mediation is a voluntary process. The Parties work together in an attempt to create an agreement that both sides are able to live with. The mediator acts as a facilitator to promote discussion and generate creative solutions for resolving the problems. If an agreement is not reached, Court resolution always remains an option.
